Sheriff Roy Coffee

This is another one I liked alot on the show. I don't really know why, If the Cartwrights had a complaint, or needed Roy Coffee to step in as the law, Sheriff Coffee's answer was always "I NEED MORE TO GO ON BEN". BUT I liked him. Maybe because he and Ben would clash, and also the best of friends. He just was not a fast acting sheriff. I find he always needed too much more information. THAT would enrage Ben sometimes, and sometimes I thought Roy Coffee's answers were really so funny. His expressions would make me laugh, the way he would squint his eyes in anger. I guess he reminded me of a grandfather type. I missed him when he left. Does anyone know why he left WHEN he left?
