The 'other' half-brother

"The First Born" is one of those storylines that - imo - coulda/shoulda been given more than one episode to fully explore. But just because the scriptwriters didn't, doesn't mean we can't. :laughing

How do you think Hoss and Adam felt about Clay ... really? Do you think they were happy to welcome another brother into the family, were they jealous, were they worried about Joe ...?

What do you think Ben felt about Clay showing up, and what do you think were his concerns about how his appearance would affect Joe and/or the entire family?

Do you think that if Clay had said "Let's go" (or "Vamos!" as the case may be :laughing ) Joe would have really run off to Mexico with his new older brother?

Last, but not least, let's imagine that Clay returned someday ... when Joe was a little older. What kind of reception would he have received this time, and why do you feel that way?
Life is good.
