Griff King
Griff King, a parolee and ex-convict who gets a fresh start working as a ranch hand on the Ponderosa. He joined the show in its fourteenth and final season (1972–1973) following the tragic passing of fan-favorite character Eric "Hoss" Cartwright.

Tim Matheson played Vice President John Hoynes on the NBC political drama The West Wing.
His portrayal of the charismatic but politically ambitious Vice President earned him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Hoynes served as Vice President alongside President Josiah Bartlet until a major political scandal forced his resignation.
