Joe did have friends besides his family and close family friends. It seems we only saw each of them in just one episode. This week we'll look at a few of those friends. These will be from the first six seasons. Enjoy!

"Silent Thunder"
Annie Croft is a deaf girl who lives with her father up in the mountains. Joe begins to teach her sign language. At the end of the episode her father also starts to learn it so that he can finally really communicate with his daughter. Sweet.
