In "Twelfth Night," a Shakespeare play that Adam might have read, Duke Orsino says, "If music be the food of love, play on!" This week, I'll be conducting a series of experiments (with Adam's help) to find out if music really is the food of love.
Experiment One: Adam wants to see if music will cause Abigail Jones to fall in love with Hank Meyers. Unfortunately, Hank sings through the nose. So Adam sits on Abigail's porch and sings, while Hank lip-syncs from in front of the house.
Result: The experiment backfired just a bit...Abigail figured out it was really Adam singing. By the look on her face, I would say that in her case music is the food of love.
