When I first watched Bonanza I did not like Adam very much. In my eyes he was a bossy, kill-joy, older brother.

I was only about 6 years old at the time and having older siblings myself, I naturally identified myself with the young, funny and playful Little Joe.
When I came back to Bonanza over two decades later I realised to my delight that the oldest Cartwright brother is not only quite dishy in a more mature way, but that he has a good sense of humour and fun as well, which in my eyes not only makes him very likable but also attractive.
And so this week’s POD is about those actually not so rare occasion when we get to see Adam' sense of humour and the funny, playful side of the man in black.
While he is at it, he questions Joe about his motives for inviting Ann Wilson to the party.
