Good grief, for a little stinker, Joe was strong! He's not only carrying Adam, he's shooting at the Indians while doing so. I'm trying to figure how that scene could have been shot if it's not really those two, and there definitely was no place for support wires or such out in the open, so I think it was filmed just as it appears.
I wonder if there was a conversation between PR and ML that went something along the lines of, "Don't you DARE drop me!"
