Welcome to Bonanza Boomers, dreamie!!! 
It was an exciting time in the 1960's when those of us who were teenagers waited in anticipation for Sunday night.
Fortunately, highlights of the next week's episode were shown at the end of Bonanza, so we had an idea of a particular storyline, be it drama or comedy, and which Cartwright would be featured.
Unless an episode was re-run in the summer, that was it. Once missed, forever missed. There were no recording devices.
There are many of us who never missed an episode throughout Bonanza's 14 year run.
