Betty Endicott was a beautiful woman whose acting skills
brightened the many scenes she was in.
She often can be seen as a saloon girl in a brightly colored dress
or an understated townswoman.
In some episodes she's both!
One of the enduring pleasures of Bonanza for me
is "Betty-watching".
I'd seen the ep below many times, but it was only recently
that I noticed Betty's particularly close relationship with the family.
Here she is on the 'inside' during what I imagine to be
a Cartwright family strategy session to deal with the problem
of Doc Holiday gunning for Joe!
