Hoss claimed that he knew how to handle those "female women." He figured that he'd tell them that he promised he'd live with his dear old daddy to avoid any intimations of marriage, but there were some women with whom he had a different relationship--and he had the worst time handling them.

There was Lullabelle, a.k.a., Looney, who saved him from the hanging posse but led him though an adventure he'd never forget.
