Hello Everyone!

[Snowfire]

I just found this site by accident (from Wikipedia's article on Pernell Roberts no less). I've been a Bonanza fan since the early 70s when I found it in syndication and fell for Adam and his horse. (We didn't have a TV when it first came on).

About a year after I discovered it, I had the opportunity to see Pernell Roberts in the musical Gone With the Wind playing in San Francisco. I went to see the play four times because I was smitten with him, and at least twice I went backstage after the play to ask for his autograph. I have to tell you, Mr Roberts was gracious and kind and I was SO impressed. He more than lived up to my admiration of him.

Plus one that I took of PR and my friend (hey, I'm behind the camera, and he's smiling at me!)


And my favorite - his arm is around me. He had just autographed a drawing I'd done of him. He was so sweet.

These pictures are SO fantastic! You're so lucky. I've never seen any picture of him looking so good after Bonanza until Trapper John. He's so DDG. You're so lucky! Did I say that already?

Did you see the thread in Viewpoints of Threem & Elisha's adventure? They met him now! He's still DDG.

I just want to add that there was nothing like the fantastic styles of the 70's. I was a teen back then and I had that beautiful indian fringed jacket and I'd KILL to still have it. They are selling vintage clothing for $$$ and I had the originals.

What fashion!
