I've been semi-active here a couple of weeks and figure that I should introduce myself ...

My first memory of Pernell Roberts was on Trapper John M.D. when it originally aired. I'm now about the same age as he was at that time.

I didn't discover Bonanza until circa 2002, when I was about the same age as Pernell was in the show. I was quite shocked to find out that sexy Adam was played by the same "old man" from my childhood.

Now, over 20 years later, I am rewatching Bonanza. Plus, I have found fan fiction.
