Hi, I'm a 20-year-old fan from Barcelona, Spain. My dad use to watch Bonanza on TV when he was a kid. During the 60s in Spain there was only one channel, so when a series was broadcasted it became a huge success. Since I was very little, my dad always talked about Bonanza, and he also invented Bonanza stories that he told me when I was going to sleep. As I grew up, a regional channel from Catalonia (the "state" where is my city Barcelona) broadcasted again Bonanza episodes, so we watch it together. When I was 14 or 15 years old we started to buy some DVD sets with the episodes, although the poor quality of the Spanish editions of the series (there are edited 10 seasons divided in 19 boxsets, high prices for each and not from an official company, every episode with different Spanish dubbing and without subtitles). Now I'm studying cinema and I love watching all this new series from HBO, Netflix, Prime... But I always miss Bonanza. And when I watch it from one of the DVDs I feel the need of talking about it with everyone, although my friends don't know about Bonanza nor Westerns. Well, I hope that I found here some nice Bonanza chats to share opinion and experiences watching this amazing series.
