what fun to have Bonanza as a new discovery.

Hi, my name is Lori and I live in Canada. I am new to this site and new to Bonanza. It started before I was born and when it ended I was a young child. I don't know how, but somehow I caught an episode and was hooked.

Welcome! What a wonderful discovery to make as an adult!

My favourite is Adam (Pernell Roberts). I was disappointed when he left the series. I am looking forward to exploring this site more.

I wish Pernell Roberts had stuck with the show longer as well (and even more than Dortort and the powers-that-be would have let him guest star a few episodes every year). But I comfort myself with the knowledge that we've got six season's worth of episodes with him. Two of my other favorites, Firefly lasted fourteen episodes and a movie, and Probe lasted seven whole episodes! Six years is a good run; that's more than twice what a show needs to get syndicated.

That's what I tell myself, anyhow.
