Great story. I always love reading about Adam as a child. He had to go through a lot but he was always mature for his age.

Author's Response:

Thank you, AdamandJoelover.  Adam may have had to grow up too fast but he must have sometimes been a wild child.  I'm glad to know you enjoyed this story.

Title: Chapter 1: A Man Named Missouri Reviewer: AdamandJoelover Signed
Lol! That story was hilarious. I liked Joe's questions and the part where Missouri tells Adam to take his shirt off and lie face down on Ben's desk... and then Ben walks in. XD Good and entertaining story.

Author's Response:

Thank you, AdamandJoelover,  And thank you for letting me know you favorite parts.  Glad you enjoyed it.

Adam and Ben find themselves caught in a storm... a storm that brings back a childhood memory for Adam that they both reflect on and recreate in their minds. Ben certainly left a lasting impression on his boys.

Great story. I've always been interested in the Ben/Adam relationship because it's different than Ben's relationships with his other sons. With Adam it's like two grown men talking and enjoying each other's company and running the Ponderosa together. You sometimes forget how much older Ben is than Adam because Adam's so mature.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. I agree that you forget the age difference between Ben and Adam because of Adam's maturity. I'm glad you liked the story! Thanks for the feedback

Very touching story. Joe was very brave for being just 12 years old, as well as stubborn and determined--all being traits that we saw in him in his later years. I agree with what Ben thought about Adam and Joe being similar in so many ways. Good job.

Title: Chapter 1: The Guilty Party Reviewer: AdamandJoelover Signed
Aww. Another wonderful Adam/Joe scene like you always do so well. I'm sure if Joe heard that conversation he'd be proud that Adam referred to him as a man.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading this story and I'm glad that you liked it. I enjoy writing scenes between Joe and Adam (and Adam and Hoss, and Pa and Adam, and....all the combinations!) Joe would have liked to know that he was thought of as a man by his family.

Expanded story for PR's 2013 birthday. The Cartwright sons go on a mission to prove to their father just what type of woman Adah Menken really is--and Adam is their first hope.

Title: Chapter 1: The Magnificent Adam Reviewer: AdamandJoelover Signed
Very sweet Ben and Adam moment. You're great at coming up with very believable scenes that are created out of just hearing one or two lines in an episode. And as fans, we love to read about what could've possibly happened if the writers had explored them more.

Author's Response:

Sometimes the writers, due to time, couldn't go into all aspects of a story but they left little teasers that are fodder for the imagination. Glad that you liked this story. Thanks for reading, AdamandJoelover.
