Title: Chapter 1 Reviewer: Sierras Signed

This is a sweet story and a very nice follow-up to "Nordic Storm". I felt like I was there with Hoss and Annika in all of the scenes. Very nice!

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading and leaving a comment, Sierras.  It's good to know what readers think.

Title: Chapter 1 Reviewer: Tahoe Lee Signed

A sweet love story.

Beautiful and realistic description of the land and nature.  At times, I felt like I was right there with them.

I love stories with a strong sense of place. I was completely transported into their world.  Good job!

I like the fact that their relationship isn't easy. There are things they need to work through.  Kudos to you for not just making Hoss fall blindly and madly in love without reservation.

The drama in your story and the touching glimpse into Hoss' past added some nice layers.

Well done.

Author's Response:

Thank you Tahoe Lee.  Relatioships are complicated, how to do that without overwhelming the story with details, well, I'm learning how to do that.  Thank you for reading and leaving a comment.

Title: Chapter 1 Reviewer: Tracy Signed

Nordic Summer is a thoughtful, moving story deeply rooted in Bonanza-series history.

The Cartwrights are true to canon, and the original characters are likable, believable, and well defined.

There are many moments in this piece where the reader is subtly transported to the scenes' landscapes, yet this does not detract from the action or dialogue in any way.

This is a feel-good continuing story and one that I recommend.

Author's Response:

Tracy, thank you for reading and for leaving your generous review.  In this time of great difficulty in our country, I wanted to contribute a story that spoke to a beginning relationship between a young man and woman, their attempt to look into an uncertain future, and finding what would bond them together during turbulant times ahead.   In writing the story, it was impossible not to feel uncertainty about its message, and so your review is reassuring.
