Title: Chapter 1 Reviewer: Tahoe Lee Signed

This is a beautiful and tender story that touched my heart deeply.  Christmas is the best time of year, and yet for some people, it can be the worst of times.

Nothing is better than to have children and snow in a Christmas story.  They are delightful.  I love the bittersweet memories they evoked.   I think everyone can relate to this.  The joy and the sorrow.

The Cartwrights certainly know grief, but they also know how to love and care and spread good cheer.

Very well done.

Title: Chapter 1 Reviewer: Tracy Signed

"Wishes" is a perfect wintry addition to the Boomers' library. It's filled with familiar characters and Cartwright canon, weaved into a touching story.

Distance was such a barrier to families back then, with letters taking weeks, if not months, to go from place to place, "visiting" taking months by wagon train or a combination of wagon train and railroad. This story brings a family together and settles a Cartwright's meloncholy about the family he's missing.

What a heartwarming story!  It was great to see the Cartwrights interacting with kids again and especially the way Joe bonded with Willie and Beth.  I really enjoyed seeing Enos and Cora Milford again, and the banter between them is really good! :)  I was also especially touched by the way Ben and his sons, especially Joe, remembered Marie at Christmas time.  The present Joe gets is so precious. And I liked that you connected the name Felicia to someone having to do with Marie!  I enjoyed this very much. :)
