Checked into the Library today since it had been so long got me, and saw your story. Without giving anything away, although Levi believed in an eye for a eye, sometimes justice comes in unusual ways.
But what is usual is that Adam wants to be the villain's nemesis, always taking matters peronally, but in this story, a greater power prevails. Thanks for finishing this up and hope all goes well with moving.
Thank you so much for checking in, Adamant! The moving preparations are admittedly exhausting. However, things are looking up that I'll live through it after all.
Yes, Levi was an eye for an eye kind of guy for sure. I didn't like him much by the end of the story. However, I see Adam as the kind of man that could make a lot of other men extremely uncomfortable. And good for him - the other guys deserve it. :)
I love your reference to Adam as the villain's nemesis - thank you. I hadn't looked at things in quite that way before (possibly because I took so much time to do this), but that does sound perfectly descriptive to me. That's exactly what happened.
