A story that arouses emotions. Joe and Karie come back from their honeymoon, then visit the Ponderosa and then return to their own new home. The horse statue as a gift will always remind Joe of his former home.

A very nice story with emotions, which each of us certainly experienced in his own way when he left parents house forever.

This is a sweet story. Even though Joe was moving into a home of his own, there were many reminders that the Ponderosa would always be his home. Pa's final gift to him said it all.

What a nice way for Pa to help Joe feel that, wherever he may be, he will alwaus be connected to the Ponderosa.  It's good that Adam and Hoss got into the act too.  I've always liked that horse statue myself.
