Poor Kopakshe and poor Adam. It's a great story but so sad.

what a story! I really couldn't read this fast enough, I needed to know what happened next after the end of each chapter. My heart goes out to Kopakshe, she was raised with one purpose in mind and thank goddness it was Adam who came along and not someone else. I love the building of emotion and unspoken connection that Adam and Kopakshe had developed through out the story. And what an ending!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for letting me know how much you liked this story and for taking the time out of your life to read it! Your appreciation for the story's structure and the OC, Kopakashe, means quite a bit. Thank you again.

Wow...I...just wow. I really enjoyed this, Adamant. You had my attention from the very first sentence. I laughed so hard at the beginnig; Adam's obliviousness to what was going on was so amusing. But even more, I love how you slowly spun this tale, and the open ending left room for my rather vivid imagination - well done, that. I'll definitely come back by for another read through in the future. Brava!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for leaving a review, Annie K. As you can see, only one person other than you has read it and reviewed it. I'm glad you liked it and as for the ending, Adam considering his behavior under different circumstances speaks for itself and although it is not definitively stated, I think we all know what he will do. Thanks again.

Adam, Adam, Adam. When you step in it, you step hard!

This story touches on era unjustices, cultural differences, and the compassion of Adam Cartwright. It's not only an interesting read, but an informative one.

Thank you, Adamant, for guiding Adam through his predicament in your usual entertaining style.

Author's Response:

I appreciate that you left a review and for acknowledging that the information about the Indians was as accuate as I could relay it. I also hope my hard work (I suffered over a few chapters! A martyr for my work! ;-D ) showed in the writing. Thank you.
