A take on the beloved holiday classic, "A Christmas Carol." But in a way that only the Cartwrights can do it.

The Cartwright Boys and their families are excited to celebrate their traditional Family Christmas. Anticipation soon turns to worry when Adam's coach disapears wihtout a trace. It soon becomes obvious that that the least of the Cartwrights' worries are having everyone home for the Holidays.

Little Joe is home with Hop Sing, with Joe getting ready for the Halloween dance in Virginia City. However, his preparations come to a screeching halt when an unexpected, and frightening, visitor arrives. Now the only one who can save Joe is Hop Sing, but the question is- will he get there in time?

Father's Day rolls around, and Hoss brings home a unique gift for Ben. The only problem is, it's annoying, insulting, and likes to sit on people's heads.
Written for June Penning from Prompts 2016. The prompt involved a Father's Day present, a thunder/rain storm, and a burnt roast. This is the alternate, longer version that stemmed from it.
The Cartwrights are caught up in a wild and dangerous hunt for a werewolf which is making its way across the Ponderosa. Ranch hands and Paiute friends get swept up with them in figuring out how to get rid of something nearly immortal. The werewolf goes about its business of scaring men and livestock, all the while quite sure there will be only one outcome. But it never met the Cartwrights and friends.
The story revolves around Adam's birthday. This time his birthday is to be celebrated in a special way. Adam is sent by Ben to San Francisco to negotiate cattle sales. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for his special day. What Adam expects as he gets home and how his birthday goes tells the story.
Christmas morning is a special time on the Ponderosa.

As strange things begin to happen in the ranch house, Hoss Cartwright becomes convinced that St. Nick's man-servant, a feller he calls 'K-necked', has come to bring judgment on them all.
Little Joe Cartwright pushes through a snowstorm and arrives home to find things not as they should be. He knows where his pa and brothers are - but where is Hop Sing?
