When a baby is left on Ben's doorstep and entrusted to him, he searches to find the parents, and gets a surprising shock.
Joe is overdue returning home from a business trip which prompts Adam and Hoss to look for him. Joint concern for their brother's welfare magnifies mightily when they stumble across a stranger in a backwoods saloon clad in Joe's favorite green jacket.

A Hoss-starred fairytale, to reward those who always wanted to see the romantic side of Hoss Cartwright written into one story. A bit of a fairy-tale, a portion of Hoss being Hoss, a part of Bonanza and - yes, some other themes combined to that framework. PG just in case - all possible implications should be very subtle.
A conglomeration of strange, inexplicable, incredulous occurrences happening within seven days all involving the Cartwrights puts the family under suspicion. But, suspicion of what? Can Roy Coffee make head or tail of what is going on?
