I have been "lurking" for a bit and I am finally taking the plunge to make myself official. I have checked out other Bonanza site and althought they do have things to offer this one is tops. Interesting topics, great info on the actors, good fan fiction...
I watched Bonanza as a child before Adam left the series. As I teenager I left bonanza behind for the 60's and 70's and all that happened musically, culturally and politically.
This summer I was recovering from foot surgery and discovered Bonanza on daytime TV. First I fell for Hoss. I love his personality and find him intelligent, thoughtful, kind and an old wise soul. However sexappeal and the tall, dark, handsome, mysterious, quite type stole more than my heart.
I became Bonanza obsessed. Are there Bonanza friendly therapists out there? I am just too interested in Bonanza reality!! But it is fun.
I am interested in women's issues. A feminist (and proud), believing that feminism also liberates men from roles. How women are protrayed on the show is interesting and would make a good new thread someday.
