My name is Linda. This is my first post. In answer to the question of why Adam wore black all the time......I read an interview that it was because all of the Bonanza characters were given the colors of their outfits to bring out the color of their hair. They wanted the contrast.

First,

I read that the powers that be decided PR looked best in black. It's always easy to see when wardrobe gave him a new black shirt because the color is suddenly dark again. Sometimes he wore pin-striped pants and sometimes solid black (although the cuffed blue jeans are still my favorite!!). it's also interesting to see how the seat of his pants sometimes is a little worn and shiny but then it only serves to draw attention to a well-shaped and firm tushie. Notice that Michael Landon is the only one who wore "stretch" pants--when he turns around,it 's obvious why. I could go on and on about wardrobe because it fascinates me but usually no one else. Again,

good to see you!

Linda

Adam can wear anything he wants or as little as he wants and that is alright with me.

Linda. I'm in the minority, while I like Adam in black, I really like him in blue jeans and colored shirts. The story I heard was PR wanted to wear black to show that not everyone who wore black was a villain, I don't know how true that is but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
