Bonanza Boomers

I have always had the Cartwrights in my life as my parents were big fans of Bonanza and Big Valley. I grew up watching reruns of Bonanza. I also watched Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven along with my mom. My favorite Cartwright has always been Adam, but I enjoy the entire family. I am 38 yrs old but age doesn't matter when the enjoyment of such classics from yesteryear are timeless. I much prefer it to the entertainment of today. Classic movies and tv shows bring back memories of a simpler time, a time that won't come again.

I totally agree with your summary about why Bonanza is so special to many of us, even after all these years. Those of us who "grew up" on the Ponderosa are blessed indeed!

Thanks for the welcome. I also just started writing fan fiction so I plan on adding some very soon. Of course it will be mostly Adam based material but I hope you like it. Writing fanfic is so much fun and it is one way of relieving stress.
