We only had David Canary for five seasons spread over six years, from season nine to season fourteen, to show how this character grew and became a welcome addition. I will be posting a random cap from each of those seasons.
In the fifth year, covering season thirteen, due to a pay dispute, David did not appear in any of the shows, and for that reason I have chosen a cap from a classic episode that was a favourite of the man's...but today we start with David's very first appearance.

David Canary as Candy Canaday, ex-Trooper and drifter, and the first thing that is blatantly obvious is that we have another 'babe magnet', another DDG, handsome, blue-eyed, curly-haired charmer...

At first I was not quiet sure why I selected this episode it was a bit of a silly, frivolous story about some sort of a mill that Candy won in a poker game, of course, Candy and Joe then became partners, only finding out later that their was another partner an attractive young lady, whom they then naturally tried to outwit each other in courting...which really didn't interest me in the slightest...but then I remembered there were totally unnecessary but even more totally welcome pictures of bare chested men, mainly Candy and LJ, an that kinda perked me up.
Of course, this cap is only posted to illustrate and give an insight into Mr Canady's good humour, vocality and cleanliness...although it does sorta tend to brighten up my day.
