Let's take a look at Hop Sing. Was Hop Sing really the glue that kept the family together? Let's face it, he was always there. The Cartwright's were always fed. Their clothes were always clean ... and I'm assuming it was Hop Sing that kept getting all those blood stains out of the settee, right? I mean those Cartwright's (and their friends) sure came walking in that door bleeding a lot, and they were always made comfortable somewhere in the great room. Well, those blood stains didn't come out by themselves.
Good ol' Hop Sing. Always there when needed.
