Betty appeared in over 80 Bonanza episodes, whenever a scene called for a saloon girl or an extra townswoman or woman stage passenger. Look closely to find Betty as a party guest, a trial spectator, or a daughter standing in the background.
Though never specifically listed under her stunt credits, Betty did stunt-double work for Pernell Roberts, once. The scene called for Michael Landon to carry Pernell Roberts’ character in The Honor of Cochise.
For the most part, Betty’s ‘stand-in’ role for Pernell occurred when the gaffers were lighting a scene; she had the same color hair and skin tone; though most would say she had to stand on a box to attain his height.
