Newbie to Boomers... and to Bonanza

Hello All,
Instead of merely an introduction, I thought I'd do something a bit more shocking (well, not that shocking.) I thought I would start out by making a confession of sorts, I honestly didn't grow up watching Bonanza. Don't hate me.
Though it was on in my house in reruns, as it was a favorite of my mom's, I never sat down to watch it. Fast forward to last month when I found myself watching an episode on You Tube and, long story short, I was hooked. It was the episode, I believe, with Lee Marvin guest staring, a very powerful episode in my opinion. When it comes to the cast of players, I guess its fair to say I first encountered them elsewhere. I actually think of Little House on the Prairie when I hear Micheal Landon's name. Likewise, Lorne Greene from Battlestar Galactica and Pernell Roberts as, of course, Trapper John MD. So, it's kind of nice to have discovered this show for the first time in my thirties... perhaps the lesson here is that mothers do sometimes know best after all. Anyway, its great to be here!
