New guy here. Reliving the memories.

Hello all. Glad I found this website. Been a fan of the show since I was a kid. Currently I watch episodes on YouTube. In the early 1970’s I lived near Lake Tahoe for a couple of years with my family. We visited the “Ponderosa” theme park on the Nevada side. Loved it. I remember having a HOSS BURGER and walking around the authentic looking main house and ranch. My family dynamic seemed to mirror the Cartwright family (3 boys) and as the youngest I totally identified with Little Joe. So many fond memories of the episodes.
I was fortunate enough to retire a little early in life. My wife and I bought an RV and we travel full time in it around the USA. We’ve been to 28 states so far. We’ve hit the big three cowboy western cities (in my mind anyways) over the last year. Tombstone Arizona, Dodge City Kansas and Deadwood South Dakota. We spent a month in the Lake Tahoe / Carson City area recently too. I’m at a point in my life where I’m getting to live the wandering life I only dreamed of as a kid.
Looking forward to reading the stories in the library section. I’m a huge western fiction fan. One of my hobbies is discovering new & used bookstores everywhere we travel. Looking for that diamond in the rough.
