Hello from the UK

I joined 4 months ago. I never liked Westerns but my husband adored them. I always used to moan when he put them on! I was with him for over 30 years and worshiped him. But he died in October from a non-Covid illness. I was so devastated. Then in the New Year I started to watch Bonanza because it made me feel closer to him and remember him with so much love. It helped me cope. idk why I went to Bonanza particularly but as soon as I did, I was so enraptured by Joe's beauty that I could not help but watch all 431 episodes. I do think if it weren't for Joe I wouldn't be so much of a fan ;)) I'm still not ultra keen on Westerns but Bonanza, to me, is not a typical Western. it concentrates on domestic issues, relationships, children, parents, etc. I can do without all the bang bang stuff but I love seeing the family with all the comedy and drama. I don't have a family now so seeing them makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. When I entered it into Google it brought me to this site. I was so struck by the warmth and friendliness of everyone on here that it made me want to stay. What with this vile pandemic we all need contact and that's what it gave me. So that's my story and I must say this is a wonderful site.
