What if LG had been unavailable or unwilling ? Who else from the 50's, early 60's TV era would have been good in the role of Pa ? Who else do you think David Dortort might have considered ? (Knowing of course, that no one would have quite measured up to Lorne).
I am unfamiliar with any other western so all who come to my mind played in situation comedies. ;-)
