Newbie just staying hi

Hello to everyone. I'm a 55 year old lady from the UK. I have been reading the fan literature for a while now and skirting around the edge of the forums as I am completely new to these and a total forum Neanderthal. But finally have got up the courage to stick my toe in and try the water.
I was a Bonanza fan when I was small watching the reruns, but I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie although I never connected the dots with Little Joe and Pa Ingalls - a testament to Michael Landons' fine acting perhaps.
Returned to Bonanza a short while ago and have indulged in purchasing the DVDs, reminding myself what a terrific series it was and the fact that it's still on TV today is testament to the shows fine credentials.
I adore all the Cartwrights but I guess my favourite is Little Joe, gotta love that face and smile and of course the tears and laughter.
Still reading my way through the fan literature and having an enjoyable time doing so, but hoping to find my way around and learn how to get involved more.
