Bonanza Boomers

Hello everyone, I am a very new Bonanza (actually Adam and PR) fan. I only discovered Bonanza on YouTube toward the end of 2017 for the very first time!!! Can you believe that! The reason being that I am a South African and we never had the "evil influence" of television during the sixties. South Africa only got TV in about 1978 and much later in Namibia where I was born and living at the time. So we completely missed Bonanza. We did see some of The Big Valley and that was what I was watching when I had a look at some other western series and found Bonanza (and Adam!) I am completely hooked on Adam and Pernell Roberts. I am currently living in Australia as my children moved here and spend a lot of time watching the good 'oldies' mostly on Youtube (Thank you Youtube) especially those I do not have DVDs of. I love westerns and really enjoyed watching Bonanza season 1-6 - twice - did not enjoy the other seasons without Adam. Reading up about Bonanza and PR I found this site.

Interesting story. I can't imagine no TV, guess I am spoiled. Glad you found Bonanza, Adam/Pernell (he's my favorite too and I don't watch past season 6 either) and of course us Boomers.
