Clem vs. Jarrod Barkley

I wasn't 100% sure where to put this but seeing as it's about Clem, it probably belonged here, but, to anyone who has watched any episode involving Clem as the center of the plot and just about 95% of The Big Valley episodes that Clem and Jarrod both get knocked out more than any other characters in either series? Like whenever Clem will appear on-screen, I am just looking for whenever someone's gonna knock him out, then I'm just automatically preparing to watch Jarrod get a TKO if he even sets foot in a bar.
Am I the only one who noticed this and get a sort of laugh out of it?
