Larrian Marie Gillespie is a daughter of Dorothy Olive Tibeau and Herbert Laurence Gillespie, Canadian natives who were a former vaudeville dance couple.
She is a sister of Darlene Gillespie (The Mickey Mouse Club) and Gina Gillespie who was also a child actress. She has an older sister and two younger brothers. In 1956, Larrain, her younger sister Gina sang with their sister Darlene on an Talent Roundup episode of The Mickey Mouse Club television series.
Her last appearance was in 1962 on Bonanza as the oldest daughter Charlie in Gallagher's Sons
Dr. Larrian M. Gillespie earned a medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine. She practiced in Beverly Hills for 15 years specializing in Urology. In 1995, after retiring from her medical practice, she became a freelance writer specializing in health and nutrition and has written several books dealing with women's health. She has also written travel and cooking articles for various publications.
