Today I would like to start with the episode with Philip Deidesheimer , and the problems into the galeries, which Adam managed to solve, thanks to his brillant mind and his stubborness, as he wasn't the instigator of the plan in this episode. But as a brillant architect, he was able to be part of the plan.
Adam and Hoss met Philip Diedesheimer, a Dutch immigrant who was trying to convince the silver mine owners in Virginia City that his square set mine system would work. The owner of one mine was determined to see that Deidesheimer's idea was not accepted. However, when a friend of Adam was killed in a mine collapse, the Cartwright boys set about making sure that Deidesheimer would be given the chance he deserved.
