Bonanza Boomers

Hoss was the only Cartwright to use such colorful expressions as "Dadburnit", "Doggone-it", "Dagnabit". Do you think these Hoss expressions were originally written for Hoss by the writers, or do you think it was Dan Blocker putting a bit of himself into the character of Hoss?

Being from Texas, I think they were commonplace words for Dan. What do you think? Writers or Dan? (Maybe both?)
