Hank Myers loved Abigail but didn't know how to court her until those Cartwrights stepped in.
Anyone who knows anything about Vaughn Monroe (1911-1973) would understand the subtle humor of those singing lesson with Adam. Vaughn was one of the most popular male vocalists of the 40s and 50s. Not only can he boast two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he also had his own television show and made a couple of cowboy movies.
His signature tune was "Racing with the Moon." He also had ten number one hits like "Ghost Riders in the Sky," "Let It Snow, Let It Snow" and "Mule Train."
Did you know that he turned down the chance to record "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" ?
