I have been a Bonanza fan since the show first started. I grew up watching all of the old Westerns on tv because my parents watched them all - Tombstone Territory, Sugarfoot, Rawhide, Rifleman, Maverick.. etc etc and of course, Bonanza. Back then we only had one b/w tv and we were just kids so of course we watched what they watched. I loved them all though! As far as Bonanza goes, Adam and Little Joe were my sister and my first loves. For the life of me I can't remember which one was each of ours but I'm thinking mine was probably Adam. We did love the others too, but Adam and Joe were our favorites. FTR, I was wasn't quite 7 in Sept of 1959 (my birthday is in November) and my sister just turned 8 that summer.
It has been quite awhile since I have even watched reruns even though the show has been around almost constantly since it first aired. I know I haven't seen any since I met my husband and we have been together almost 20 years. I recently found the episodes on youtube and have been having a marathon every night before I go to sleep. I found I have forgotten most of the plots and some of the familiar guests stars who made appearances but I also remember some very distinctly, such as Thunder Man and of course the 3 wives episodes, especially Ingers. I don't think anyone who watched The Crucible on its original air date could ever forget it. That is the most memorable to me of all with Inger's death episode probably 2nd.
