Esta Mae "Siss" Martin: Another wife of PR?

Post by Buffalo Woman » Mon Sep 22, 2014 12:25 am

I was researching about PR and came across this story regarding Esta Mae "Siss" Martin. Does anyone else know any information regarding this lady and her marriage to Pernell?

Birth: Jan. 24, 1919
Texas, USA
Death: May 16, 1984

Her Father was William Hardy Martin,Her mother was Laura Leona Tate Martin.

It is unknown to me what her Stage name was when she lived in Hollywood , like all the people out there i'am sure she had one but here at her memorial her real name will be used.

She was known as the Singing Cowgirl of Texas and performed at all the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's and Parades in the thirties, fourties and fifties went on to Hollywood in the sixties to try to make it as a singer/actress there....
