I posted this on another thread (the thread requesting volunteers for POD so I'll repost it here since I'm not yet quite sure where to put things.

I'm new to this forum and am just learning my way around, so for now I won't be doing any volunteering. In any case, I'm so glad we have enough POD volunteers through the end of the year.
I'm a true blue Bonanza Boomer since I watched the series way back when I was a kid and I was so delighted to find this forum along with so many ADAM/PR fans.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for all the wonderful work, including discussions regarding PR taking leave of the series. I for one, find it difficult watching post Adam episodes. The other "family" members - Ben, Little Joe and Hoss were very endearing; however, Adam, I feel, played an important role of the family composition. Joe was the reckless kid, Hoss was the kind hearted big guy, while Adam was the intellectual and stable brother and IMHO the most irristible.
I read somewhere that the producer [Dotort - sp??) was later sorry that he hadn't done more to keep PR on the show, such as accepting PR's request that he be allowed to appear in other venues.
