My name is Ellie and Bonanza has been one of my guilty pleasures. I think Bonanza has certainly passed the test of time - it was aired for fourteen years and now, a half a century later, Bonanza still has its fan base.
My favorite brother was Adam, so I was very disappointed when Pernell Roberts left. I was also unhappy to read that Roberts was unhappy with the show, which is why he did not extend his contract.
