A Strange Thing To Say?

Last night, for no particular reason, l was watching the episode 'Her Brother's Keeper' season 7. The one where Ben has a patch over his eye, an he has the hots for Claire Amory. l like Hoss an Joe 'The House Handy Men' chimney sweeps they aint. Anyways Claire picks up a picture and asks if it's Joe's ma, he says it is but he never knew her, she died when he was a baby. In all other episodes Joe was supposed to be about 5 when she died. Wonder how the script writer, and even ML would have let that go. It was the seventh season ML was already involved with the production. Just seems a bit strange to me...if this had been discussed at length before, just ignore me an
