This week I thought we would take a look at the episode, No Less A Man, from Season Five. The episode truly features the talents of Ray Teal as Sheriff Roy Coffee. After Roy sustains an injury while trying to apprehend a drunken man, the town council and some business owners begin to doubt Roy and think he’s getting too old to be the sheriff. Complicating matters, there’s the Wagner gang that’s been raiding towns in Nevada, committing robberies, assaults, murders – nasty gang.
In this scene we see a bit of Roy’s softer side as he plays robbers with young Jerry and gives him a horseyback ride through town.
