When I was in my early teens a male friend kept calling me Hannahbabe it caught on and everyone starting calling me that , even now I get called that so when I joined the forum I knew I wanted to use something that would unmistakably express who I love best, so I combined his name with part of my nick name and the 00 at the end represents him and I together side by side. all together [ Pernellsbabe00 ]

My name was Patricia Jackson. When I went to Delta Training to become a flight attendant, there were several Patsy's and Pat's. We all got nicknamed - I ended up with "PJ" which got shortened to "Peej" when I worked in the Operating Room in later years.

Peej

I chose my nick because it combines some of my favorite things in one name. Bonanza (Joe on horseback - can there be anything hotter?), horses, and the Lord of the Rings, where a tavern is called the "Prancing Pony".

This is an interesting thread! My user name is Dulci-Gal on the dulcimer (a musical instrument that I play) music forums I subscribe to. When I first joined BW, I was looking for something that a) I could remember and b) would tell people a little bit about my taste in Bonanza characters, hence Joe'sGal!

It's kind of fun to have more than one identity, isn't it? When I go to conventions, I always add my username to my namebadge, so that I might possibly meet some of the people I have connected with online. I play at festivals with a guy I met online. At one festival, the emcee (who is also a member of that board) will tell the audience who we are in the cyberworld, as well as in "real life"! :cool1
