Welcome, Krycha! It is nice to finally meet someone from Silesia. My uncle's family lived there, years ago.

Although I am not Polish, I live in an area with a large population of Polish-Americans. It is our privilege to share in the beautiful music, dancing and cuisine that was brought to this country by our Polish immigrants. A good friend of mine plays in a popular Polish band. He travels around a multi-state area bringing the joys of your country's music to our fellow Americans.

No, unfortunately I don't know any Polish. If I visit Silesia someday, I'll have to rely on my German!

Why German ? We speak polish here or silesian

Silesian is a dialect here in Silesia,Poland. Joe'sGal wants to speak German in Silesia so I said we speak polish or silesian.
