I read somewhere that PR himself was asked that question and he said that the producers thought he looked best in black. Who knows if that's true.

I don't know if this was in the thinking when they decided that Adam wear black but it broke the rule that the good guys wear white and one can tell the bad guys because they wore black.
Adam looks delicious in his all black or blue and that yellow or sometimes tan jacket.
