Yes! I'm an overall animal lover, but birds (especially owls) are high on that list.

@AutumnOwl22 there is a pair of barred owls living not far from me. It is a treat to hear them and get the occasional glimpse

@elizabeth @AutumnOwl22 My son is an avid twitcher, he is so knowledgeable, it always amazes me how much he knows about his feathered friends.

@Oxgirl he probably has a long life list? Birds are the best. I have a hummingbird feeder, and the Ruby Throateds come in to slurp up the water all day long. The little ones are out of their nests, and they are so hungry!

Wow, that's amazing. Nothing so exotic on our bird feeders, but they make him really happy.

@elizabeth @Oxgirl If you both don't already know about it, I'd suggest signing up for ebird.org. You can keep a checklist of all the birds you see and help identify those you don't know. I use it mainly on vacations when I see unique birds I don't normally witness around my house. It's fun to go back years later and look at all the ones you've spotted.
