Just scroll further down to The Men of Bonanza or The Actors of Bonanza and click on whatever character or actor’s forum you choose.

Daily threads will appear. Just click on whatever thread ‘subject’ piques your interest. Most have PODs ie Picture Of the Day with member comments.

Kidding aside, Janet, I'm guessing Pernell's leaning was an acting technique he learned on the stage. It's a posture that draws attention to the body (not that his body needs attention drawn to it ;) and therefore draws the audience's attention to that particular actor. Makes him stand out in a group of actors on stage.

As for Adam leaning...I think it's all those heavy muscles. Makes it hard for him to remain upright I'm a big fan of the muscles and the leaning.

Heh. I have an idea that Pernell was a lazy... well lazy. But I adore him. From what I've read, he seemed to have been a wicked (yes, I'm from the Boston area), sort. I just can't can't over how handsome he was. He must have been beating the girls off with a stick.

Interesting. Like Claude Rains when he moves his fingers. If you're a fan of old films and Claude Rains, you will notice him doing this and he said he did it to draw attention to himself. Same thing. I am getting to know Pernell so much here. And I have an idea that he was a fan of old movies. I can't recall the episode I was watching, but his mannerisms were close to Laurel & Hardy. And as he grew up in that time frame, I bet he was a huge fan of comedy.
